Project Scope:
   Ammonia Removal Project: In accordance with mandates from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR), new processes are to be constructed to remove a larger amount of ammonia from the St. Joseph Water Protection Facility discharge to the Missouri River. The processes developed will facilitate future plans for nitrogen and phosphate removal as more stringent removal requirements are implemented by DNR.

Project Funding Amount: $43,980,897.57

   The following activities are still on going as of February 2017: Whitehead Meter Vault: Garney is currently working on the plan for the replacement of the existing flowmeter in conjunction with the cleanout of the Grit Influent Junction Box.
